Scouting America

Far East Council

The Far East Council provides the programs and services of Scouting America to more than 3,200 young people and 1,200 volunteers in Asia. The Council is led by a volunteer Executive Board of community and business leaders and supported by the Scout Executive.

The Council serves the following communities with four geographically divided districts led by a committee of volunteers, each supported by a full-time District Executive:

Pacific Rim District - Australia, Fiji, Japan (not including Okinawa), Philippines, and Taiwan

Guiding Compass District - Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Okinawa, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam

Phoenix District - China, Hong Kong, Mongolia, and South Korea,
